Vision
The aim of the course is to form Portuguese teachers with knowledge, competence, and skills, professionalism and ethics in the area of Portuguese language course.
Mission
All the students are immersed in quality instruction that is founded on the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, namely Context, Experience, Reflection, Action and Evaluation.
Objective
- Educate and train future secondary school teachers to teach Portuguese with competence, deep knowledge, skills, professionalism and ethics.
- At the end of the of the course all the students are equipped with knowledge, skills and abilities in terms of speaking, writing, listening and reading in Portuguese.
- At the end of the fourth year, all the students will be able to teach Portuguese to the secondary schools students.
