On 20 August, our Jesuit project partners in Timor-Leste visited our office in Sydney. As key leaders in ministries and works supported by Jesuit Mission, provided an updated on how your support is bringing positive change in education, clean water and sanitation, health care, and food security.
In July 2025, Jesuit Mission Australia hosted a six-day workshop in Bali with 47 committed participants – Jesuits and lay collaborators from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Laos, Timor-Leste, Myanmar, Indonesia, Taiwan, Spain, the Philippines and Australia.

Fr Sacha Bermudez-Goldman SJ, a Companion of Jesuit Mission, left Australia in mid-January 2025 to join the Instituto São João de Brito (ISJB) in Kasait, Timor-Leste, as part of their teaching staff and their Ignatian Formation team.
